HP Sprocket Photobooth Printer - How to Use the Notification App

This document is for the HP Sprocket Photobooth 

Connecting to the HP Sprocket Photobooth App 

1. Download the HP Sprocket Photobooth app from the Apple App Store® or Google Play® store.  

  

2. Create an account in the app.  
3. Verify your account information via email.  

4. Make sure your Photobooth is connected to Wi-Fi® 
5. Press the power button to turn your Photobooth on.

6. Open the HP Sprocket Photobooth app and select “Add a new device.” 

7. In your Sprocket Photobooth, click on “Settings.” 
8. Select “Mobile app.” 
9. A QR code will appear on your Photobooth device. Scan the QR code from the app. 


10. Wait 30 seconds for the app to pair. 
11. When prompted, enter your device name and press “Confirm.” 

Navigating the App 

The app will notify you of any paper jams, communication errors, etc. 

  • To access Photobooth notifications, select your device from the homepage.  



  • To mute alerts, select “Mute Alerts” at the top of your device home page in the app. 



  • To clear all alerts, select “Clear Alerts” on the top of your device home page in the app.


  • To delete specific alerts, slide left on the alert you wish to delete and slide left. Click on the trash icon that appears. 

          

  • To edit your device name, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of your dashboard. 

              ◦ Select “Edit Name” and enter your new name.
              ◦ Press “Confirm.” 

          
  • To unpair your device, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of your dashboard.
              ◦ Select “Unpair” from the pop-up notification.  
       
          
  • To access account info, support information, legal & privacy info, or buy paper, select the hamburger icon in the top left of the home screen. 
  • Select “Account info” to access information about your account, change your password, etc. 
  • Select “Buy Paper” to buy Zink paper. 
  • Select “Support” to access customer support information. 


   

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 

What do I do if I forgot my password? 

Select “Forgot Password?” from the login page and enter your email address for a password recovery link. 
Follow the link in your email to reset your password. 

Can I add more than one device to my account? 

Yes, just click on “Add a new device” from the top of your dashboard and follow the instructions for connecting to the app.
